The Maspalomas Flea Market is held every Sunday morning and is located between the town-hall and the Stadion of Maspalomas. Used goods, like clothes, handbags, decorative figures, jewelery, books and games, cheap items, collectibles and antiques are commonly sold. The flea market offers the visitor a curious and entertaining walk and a surprise with each step.

El mercado municipal sigue sin luz y dentro de poco se va a cerrar. El ayuntamiento de Maspalomas tiene previsto de demoler la infraestructura y hacer allí un nuevo mercado con una área gastronómica y una sala polivalente, para por ejemplo los mercados y ferias pequeñas (agrícola, ecológico, etc.). A top climate summit organized by Arnold Schwarzenegger's environmental organization tooks place this week in my hometown Vienna. Swedish youth activist Greta Thunberg spoke at the opening of a failure by the leaders in attendance to act. She called on leaders to inform the public about climate change without sugarcoating "the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced."
